Hi there,

I have just downloaded the trail version of the RSS.NET package, and when I click on the MSI package, it starts up and prepares, and then after a few seconds a messagebox pops op saying :

"Net Framework not installed on the Computer".

I am running Vista Business and .NET framework should be included by default.

Any idea what is going on - I cannot test you component with the error.

Regards,
TOny

Hi Tony,

It seems like there is a problem with the installer on Windows Vista.

You can download a zip file containing the required assemblies and samples/help documentation from www.web20tools.net/downloads/RSS_Net.zip

Unzip the zip file to a folder of your choice. The bin folder inside the zip file contains the required assemblies. The Documentation folder contains the help documentation. There is also a samples which contains Web and Desktop samples in VB.NET and C#.

You can find further information on http://www.web20tools.net/Products/RSS_Library/Help/Step%201-%20Installing%20the%20Files.html

Hope this helps

Jacob
